About

This blog is a compilation of great photographers who also have great blogs.  We review new blogs all the time.  If you have a photographer’s blog you’d like to recommend, please send it to us.

Photographers Who Blog is run by photographer Nathan Clendenin.  Educated with a Master’s degree in Visual Communication at the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Nathan studied under Pat Davison and Rich Beckman.  He finished both the multimedia and photojournalism sequences which culminated into his thesis project: HIV Stories – AIDS, Poverty & Faith in a South African Township.  The experience of working with the people who shared their lives so freely and openly didn’t leave Nathan the same, and he subsequently spent a year in South Africa (Aug. ’08 – July ’09), documenting life in the township of Mamelodi through photos, audio, video and 3D Panoramic images which he shares on a blog with his wife called Mamelodi Stories.  He resides in Durham, NC where he does documentary wedding photojournalism and storytelling for non-profits.
